ILAC Quarantine Chronicles DAY 6: Good morning, Toronto!

Another day getting up early, feeling re-energized and thrilled for being in Canada! Each day the stunning view catches my eyes when I am getting up. Some days it is cloudy, some days it’s sunny, but in all conditions I cannot stop staring at life outside.

The vibe of the city attracts me and I love the perspective that my window view gives me every day. Frankly, I am not sure if I would feel this joyful if I were going through my quarantine somewhere else. This quarantine unit is perfect and ILAC’s Parkside Residence marks all the checkboxes – mandatory isolation, my own bathroom, prepared food delivered daily to my door. The staff here even take out my garbage, so I don’t need to worry about a single thing! It is such a wonderful service.

As today unfolded, I had an opportunity to attend a very informative ILAC KISS Virtual Workshop. Workshops hosted by ILAC are focused on different topics such as virtual English classes with ILAC KISS, IELTS Preparation, ILAC Pathway to Higher Education as well as Canadian Immigration Updates and more. Workshops about immigration have become very popular these days, as agents and students worldwide are eager to learn about the latest updates and news regarding the current situation for studying, working and immigrating to Canada.

Although the situation is evolving and there were some changes implemented on Monday, February 22nd, the immigration consultant Jane shared amazing news about Canada’s plan to welcome a record number of new immigrants in 2021 and 2022. If you are considering or already planning your immigration move, now is the time to start taking action as you might benefit from this intake expansion.

If you are interested in immigrating to Canada and would like to learn about the freshest news from a variety of immigration consultants, you can register and join free ILAC KISS Workshops.

After work, I hop in my workout clothes and exercise for a proper hour. I am really joyful after the training, as I can feel the lack of movement during self-isolation. I took a shower, my dinner delivery arrived, and I enjoyed warm lentil soup and baked empanadas with salad on side, so tasty!

As the night approached, all the little city lights came alive again. I was hypnotized, and already thinking about how fulfilling it is going to be to start living a normal life once I am out of here. In the evening, I read for a while and in few minutes my eyes were blinking from tiredness and I was ready to join Day 7.

Good night, Toronto!
