Denilson ‘Denny’ Agostinho

Denilson Agostinho holds an MBA with a specialization in Business Analytics from the University Canada West, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and a Postgraduate degree in Technology Innovation Management. With over 20 years of experience in the data analytics industry, Denilson has worked across North America, South America, and Europe, collaborating with leading organizations in various industries. Currently, he serves as the Analytics & Insights Product Owner at Pacific Blue Cross, where he spearheads the development of key data-driven solutions and provides leadership with analytics frameworks that drive operational and strategic decision-making. His versatile career includes roles as a developer, consultant, advisor, manager, director, business owner, tutor, mentor, and educator. Denilson’s passion for technological innovation and his expertise in data literacy empower him to offer students a comprehensive, real-world understanding of data analytics. He creates a dynamic learning environment that equips future professionals with the skills necessary for success in the ever-evolving field of data.

Diana Wang

Diana Wang holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Public Accountant in Canada. She also holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Law. With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Diana has made a significant impact on the reinsurance sector, serving as Managing Director for the Greater China and East Asia markets at the world’s largest reinsurance group. Her expertise spans health, travel, and casualty reinsurance across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition, Diana co-founded both an Insurtech company and a global assistance firm. Her extensive experience managing diverse teams and navigating international markets fuels her passion for sharing corporate insights with students. Diana’s teaching philosophy is centered on helping students discover their career passions while bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice to prepare them for successful professional development.

Helena Carballo

Helena Carballo is a dynamic marketing professional with an MBA from University Canada West and a proven track record at two of the world’s leading global companies. With ten years of experience at Heineken and PepsiCo, Helena has developed an in-depth understanding of market trends, marketing strategy execution, and the management of diverse marketing channels. Her industry expertise has thoroughly prepared her for the classroom, where she focuses on fostering strategic thinking in her students. Helena’s goal is to equip students with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the ever-changing marketing landscape successfully.

Jinhyuk Cho

Jinhyuk Cho holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island. He is also a Chartered Financial Planner® certified by the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning. With over seven years of industry experience, Jinhyuk has worked with one of Canada’s leading banks, specializing in long-term investment strategies and financial planning for high-net-worth clients. His expertise extends to providing investment advice and market analysis. Jinhyuk integrates his real-world financial expertise with academic theory to deliver a well-rounded and practical understanding of introductory accounting and business math, ensuring students gain valuable insights into these crucial areas.

Nadia Hosseinzadeh

Nadia Hosseinzadeh holds a Degree in Political Science and Urban Planning, along with a Specialization in Project Management from the University of Toronto. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Nadia brings over a decade of experience to her roles, with a distinguished career in project management, particularly within the IT and startup sectors. As the Director of Operations at Monachus Solutions and the founder of Appy.yo, she combines her passion for innovation with practical expertise. Nadia also serves as an advisor at CITI, where she actively engages the community through workshops and mentorship. In her teaching, Nadia connects project management theory to real-life applications, helping students recognize how these principles apply in their daily lives through an interactive, adaptable approach.

Peggy Ng

Peggy Ng holds a Travel and Tourism Management Diploma and a Civil Aviation Safety Training Certificate. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Peggy has worked with leading airlines such as Air Transat, Alaska Airlines, and Cathay Pacific Airways. She began her career as an airport customer service agent and later became a certified Aviation Safety Training Specialist. Peggy integrates her real-world expertise with academic insights, aiming to provide students with a relatable and practical understanding of diverse customer centric environment.

Randila Kulathilake

Randila Kulathilake is an accomplished Marketing Coordinator with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and social media strategy. She holds an MBA from University Canada West and brings over four years of industry experience to her role. Drawing from her time at Liberty Tax Canada, where she honed her hands-on knowledge of the marketing field, Randila brings a deep passion for teaching. She offers students a practical, real-world perspective on modern marketing practices, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Maryam Yacob

Maryam Yacob holds a Certification in Human Resources Management from the Toronto Metropolitan University and holds two Masters’ Degrees, in Communication and History. With 12 years of experience in the world of academia, she believes in a hands-on approach to learning where students gain practical insights by prepping and hosting mock job fairs where pupils get to polish their recruiting, training and interview skills. Maryam is an avid traveler which allows her to tailor her teaching style towards a diverse group of individuals and aims to connect theoretical HR concepts with real-world applications.

Angela R. Lagamba is a dynamic, solutions-oriented professional with over 10 years of industry experience. She holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a Certificate in Digital Marketing Management from the University of Toronto. Known for her innovative approach with leading corporate brands, Angela excels at creating and managing strategic, impactful multi-channel marketing campaigns while fostering team excellence. Her blend of real-world expertise and academic insight enriches her teaching, offering students a deep and practical grasp of modern marketing and digital marketing strategies in a fun and engaging manner.

Michael Adamopoulos

ILACIC Toronto Campus

Michael Adamopoulos is an M.B.A. graduate from Solvay Business School with a musical background. Possessing entrepreneurial skills, he founded Warcry Entertainment Group consisting of Warcry Concerts, Warcry Studios and Warcry Management. He specialized in organizing concerts and tours with music groups from Europe and the U.S. for over 14 years and is also involved in studio recordings and music production. Having extensive experience in the music industry and also in the academic world, Michael brings real life business scenarios to his teachings. He has lived, studied and worked in a number of countries and continents and therefore has a deep understanding of different cultures and languages. Since 2017 he has used his knowledge and expertise teaching various courses and subjects at ILACIC.
