The cold morning woke me up and despite the foggy weather I got up early. I am now used to the time change and I am able to get up without a morning alarm. I think Canada has a great influence on me because back home I could never hear any of my alarms. I feel actually proud of myself, and I am sure people who know my sleeping habits would be proud too.
Monday is the busiest day of each week, and therefore it flies extremely quick, even quicker than the other days in quarantine. Meetings, followed by social media duties, setting up various workshops for the whole month as we are just starting a fresh one. For students who don’t have work self-isolation is a  great time to focus on yourself.
Here are a few suggestions of things to do for success in Canada:
- Learn English online:
You can sign up for virtual ILAC KISS classes, to maximize your time while polishing your language skills
- If you own a valid study permit which allows you to work in Canada, can look for jobs at:
- Set up / improve your professional LinkedIn profile:
If you want to enter the world of professionals, you should have your online resume ready. LinkedIn is almost like Facebook for professionals. This platform enables you to build your professional network, find jobs, and gives you access to educational courses of all kinds.
The great news is that you can try the platform first. LinkedIn offers free trials for the very first month. So, if you feel bored, sign up and try courses based on your interest for free.
- Read books or listen to a podcast:
I added some tips for reading and apps before, however I would like to share with you my favourite podcast by Tom Bilyeu named Impact Theory, which you can also find on Spotify.
Enjoy your super empowerment and let me know which activity you liked the most! Good night!
